I just answered 15 questions to discover how addicted am I to Facebook. Here are some of them:

How often do you check facebook?
Me: A few times a day
Do you use facebook on your mobile phone?
Me: No
Do you use facebook to organize events?
Me: No
When you sit down at a computer, what do you usually check first?
Me: Facebook
Have you reconnected with any old classmates or colleagues from facebook?
Me: Yes

And the result….

My question however is, are we using Facebook in making a positive, tangible difference in our life or anyone else’s life? Is it a true pre-requisite for a genuine goal? Are we using Facebook to gain friends and increase popularity? Are we using Facebook to find love and pleasure?

Did you know that crimes and complaints involves the popular social networking site Facebook? Cases are rising this year in the Philippines which involves estafa, libel, murder, harassment, identity theft and pornography. And here are some of the news that you can also read online:

- Female victim died of multiple stab wounds, allegedly caused by four male suspects who went inside her rented house. One of the suspects is a supposed boyfriend of the victim that she met on the social networking site Facebook.

- An Actor-Director rushed himself to Philippine Heart Center after receiving seventeen stab wounds in the chest and torso. The suspect guy is a friend he met in Facebook five months ago.

-The two boys who allegedly developed a romantic affair through the social networking site Facebook are involved in a shooting incident inside the mall and were pronounced dead according to television reports.

Facebook is really giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. But be  careful of what you share with your friends and with public. Use facebook very curiously and share important news or events, music, and  funny video. The more people know about us, especially the people we don’t know and can’t trust, the more at risk we are. Think before you click, think before you post, think before you share too much information.

Life is simple…you make choices and you never look back!

True love is like a ghost. Everyone talks about it, but few have seen it.

One of the things I keep learning is that the secret of being happy is doing things for other people.

Giving up doesn’t always mean you are weak, sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.

The more anger towards the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of loving in the present. So move on and be happy.

—–Funny—–

Let’s commit the perfect crime, I’ll steal your heart and you steal mine!

When a man gives his opinion he’s a man. When a woman gives her opinion she’s a bitch.

Are you spying on me cause every time I close my eyes it’s always you that I see?

Sorry…I’m not Rihanna. I don’t love the way you lie but i love listening to lies, when i know the truth. ..

Hating me isn’t going to make you any prettier. If you don’t like me remember it’s mind over matter; I don’t mind and you don’t matter.

“I just broke up with someone and the last thing he said to me was “You’ll never find anyone like me again!” I’m thinking, “I should hope not! If I don’t want you, why would I want someone like you.”” funny quote huh???

—–Personal Reflection—–

My Sunday reflection… Have you given up on something or someone because you can’t see results? Remember, it takes time for seeds to grow and bear fruit. It pays well to wait, God’s timing is always perfect. We just need to be patient and trust HIS heart.

Life is too short, grudges are a waste of perfect happiness, laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can’t change. In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life.

You know what??? Try to pitch uplifting words. Stop putting down people bcoz you’re destroying their sense of value and self worth. If you have nothing good to say then shut your ******* mouth. We don’t need unsolicited & non sense advice….. duh!

I believe many battles are won and lost inside your mind…So, I think positive today… I’m sleepy but still happy, lonely but not alone and is stressed but still blessed :-)

All of a sudden, I felt a little empty. I lost my heart today because things didn’t go as planned and then I realize that when I look elsewhere, I will be frustrated. I’m beginning to understand that when I put more trust to others on things or people, they can always let me down. One person can make things possible…GOD alone. Good Day!

A friend of mine once told me that words are powerful! YES it true! why? words can encourage or discourage. Can build or destroy. Can make friends or make enemies. Often, mean words can’t be left unspoken. And the wounds they cause can take a long time to heal. Let the words you will speak today bring life. Happy Lord’s Day to everyone and God Bless!

What I learned today…Net worth is the difference between total assets & total liabilities. We are living in a world that measures success & the value of a person in terms of net worth. Do you sometimes feel that you are less of a person because you drive a 20-year-old car? Or wear clothes bought in U.K.(ukay-ukay)? Remember, we are priceless & our worth is based on what GOD does & not on what we have or what we can do. Good Day!

Today’s Reflection: My Heart broke & my faith shattered. In spite of all my prayers I didn’t get what I want. Many times, I bribe God by offering sacrifices & doing things that will make HIM give in to my will. Many times, I end up disappointed & hurt. We cannot bribe God. HE knows what’s best for us & HIS ways are good though they may not be clear to us or in the way that we expect.

One of the biggest challenges here I think is being and staying objective which you seem to have done nicely. Great work. Appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
